Our planet's raw material reserves are steadily decreasing, while carbon emissions and greenhouse gases are increasing, which is why the use and conservation of resources in the sense of a circular economy is so relevant nowadays. This way new materials can be created in any phase of the life cycle by sourcing from the end, turning the material itself into a new beginning - you just have to look for beginnings and think about the next “end”. Further approaches are offered by resource consumption, origin, availability, transport routes, service life or the material properties (weight, elasticity, conductivity, ..)
We are expanding our material and (very important) prototype database and are looking forward to new material applications e.g. from mushrooms, fruits, algae, pine needles, seagrass, ash for future use in construction, interior, fashion, mobility and many other projects.
