PLANT BASED TOOTHBRUSH HEADS FOR ELECTORNIC TOOTHBRUSHES
Due to hygienic reasons toothbrush heads should be replaced every two to three months which makes an enormous need of resources and creates a huge amount of waste. To tackle this problem happybrush is cooperating with the Fraunhofer Institute of Process Engineering and Packaging in the development of the “Re-Cycle-Fills” – plant based toothbrush heads for electronic toothbrushes. With this material innovation the Munich-based Start-Up wants to replace conventional Polypropylene with Biopolymers to reduce the CO2-footprint of a toothbrush head and increase the user's ecological awareness.
