Instalación basada en hongos
Los hongos se comunican dentro de su propia red mediante impulsos eléctricos. La instalación Interwoven mide y traduce este lenguaje invisible en proyección y sonido. Cuando se toca el hongo, su efecto puede verse y oírse; así, arte y ciencia colaboran en esta instalación. Interwoven trata de la relación entre el ser humano y la naturaleza. ¿Nos hemos distanciado demasiado o somos uno? Al poner al espectador cara a cara con un hongo, Lidewei Reitsma y Jonne Verheij quieren crear una sensación de conexión con el hongo y, por tanto, con la naturaleza.
