Bred, mixed and cooked materials for lamps
| Tri Amikoj are three buddies who look different but want to achieve the same thing; they present alternative materials. The lampshades are bio-based and biodegradable. With their luminosity, they set a clear signal against petroleum-based plastic and are haptically and olfactorily very exciting. The clear, angular frame contrasts with the organic and restless structures of the lamp. Scoby material was produced by breeding microorganisms. Kombu algae grow in the sea and are used for both materials and food. The material biotope is cooked and used as a bioplastic. |
