Bouncing Patterns

The structural fabric for new applications

Bouncing Patterns is a collection of three-dimensional textiles with absorbing, cushioning and self-supporting qualities. The multilayer hollow structure is lightweight, stiff yet flexible. These features make it endlessly transformable. Challenging industrial Jacquard technologies, the project intends to shorten the production process, reduce textile wastes and create a durable design both visual and technical. Those innovative weaves could result unique sculptures along with cutting-edge solutions for acoustic issues in open spaces, thermal insulation, new mattresses or upholstery materials.
