The Bio-flip-flops from coconut & pineapple fibers
Plastic waste in the seas is a global problem. Garbage continents are floating in the oceans. These include many articles made of plastic, such as the classic Flip-Flops®. Their materials pollute the environment and health not only during production and usage, but also during disposal, as they take hundreds of years to decompose.
As an alternative, the „Cocolette“ was created from pure, ecological materials. Inspired by Cradle to Cradle® values, it consists of material innovations: Natural fibres from coconuts and pineapple leaves.
