SMILTER® is a leaf trap made of recyclable bioplastic produced from renewable sugar cane ethanol.  Mounted on gutters or downspouts, it filters leaves and coarse dirt. This prevents clogging or even bursting of the pipes, which extends their lifespan. The dirt can be removed manually from the SMILTER's catch tray. Neither roofers nor climbing up the roof yourself to clean the gutters are needed any longer to protect buildings and facades from water damage.
