Variark ist ein modulares, mobiles Museumssystem, das naturbezogene Bildung in unterversorgte ländliche Schulen bringt und so die kulturelle Inklusion fördert. Die zentrale Innovation ist das "Crate-as-Exhibit"-Design: 100 wiederverwendbare Holzkisten verwandeln sich in Ausstellungsstände, wodurch Bautätigkeiten unnötig werden und das Transportgewicht reduziert wird. Diese "Pack-and-Play"-Logik gewährleistet eine abfallfreie Bilanz und verlängert die Lebensdauer des Produkts durch inhaltlich unabhängige Modularität auf unbestimmte Zeit.

Charlene (USC) is a curator and strategist specializing in biocultural systems and social impact. Chase (UPenn), a former computer scientist turned explorer, focuses on wilderness research and sustainable infrastructure. As curators of the 2023 Shanghai Urban Space Art Season ("Ecology"), they bridge the divide between urban life and nature. Their practice transforms ecological knowledge into accessible mobile infrastructures, fostering a "zero-distance" dialogue with the natural world.
