Mobility is an essential prerequisite for participation
in social and economic life, and the movement of goods
would also be inconceivable without mobile solutions. On
the other hand, the increase in traffic has become a major
cause of air, noise, water and air pollution.

It is therefore high time for alternative forms of propul-
sion, new urban transport and shared Mobility systems,
the transformation of the transport industry to water, by
rail, road and in the air - on the long haul.

The reduction of material and weight, the finding of alter-
native fuels, a changed charging infrastructure, the change
or the development of new means of transport fall into this
category. The design of Concepts and solutions can signifi-
cantly spur this transformation.

Mobilität ist eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für die Teilhabe
am gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Leben, auch der
Warenverkehr wäre ohne mobile Lösungen undenkbar. Auf der
anderen Seite ist der Anstieg des Verkehrsaufkommens zu einer
Hauptursache für Luft-, Lärm-, Wasser- und Luftverschmutzung
geworden.

Deshalb ist es ist höchste Zeit für alternative Antriebsformen,
neue urbane Verkehrs- und gemeinsam genutzte Mobilitätssyste-
me, die Transformation der Transportbranche zu Wasser, auf der
Schiene, der Straße und in der Luft - auf der Langstrecke, wie auf
der letzten Meile.

Die Reduzierung von Material und Gewicht, das Finden von Al-
ternativen Antriebsstoffen, ein veränderte Ladeinfrastruktur,
der Wechsel oder die Entwicklung neuer Verkehrsmittel fallen
in diese Kategorie.
