Green Product Awards 2025 Summit – Design, Sustainability & Innovators
Berlin, 15 May 2025 |– For the twelfth time, the international Green Product Awards are honouring pioneering solutions for sustainable design and innovation. With submissions from over 46 countries, the 2025 edition impressively demonstrates the global shift toward circular materials, eco-conscious consumer goods, and forward-thinking product design.
Under this year’s motto, “Green Olympics”, the nominated projects showcase groundbreaking ideas and products across 12 categories – from interior design and mobility to fashion, personal care, and new materials.
Around 200 guests from 35 countries came together on 15 May for the Summit & Award Ceremony at the Felleshus Nordic Embassies in Berlin - co-hosted by the Swedish Embassy. A mix of participants, embassy representatives, jury members, industry experts and promising young talents. The programme included keynotes, matchmaking workshops and the award ceremony, which was watched online by around 1500 participants.
“This year’s outstanding winners epitomise the principles of Reduce, Repair, Reuse, and Recycle – perfectly reflecting the values of the Awards and the Green New Deal” says Nils Bader, Director of the Awards.
Jury Highlights
Second Use - reconditioned electric motors by Audi AG; CQuest BioX– CO₂-negative carpet tiles by Interface Inc.; TRASHBOARD – circular material made from recycled cardboard; CARPE DIEM– scented natural wall surfaces by Organoid Technologies; OliPhenolia®– skincare from olive waste by Fattoria La Vialla; STADTFUCHS – a 3D-printed e-bike by Urwahn Engineering; RAIS – eyewear made from beans by Re rolf.produktions; PAPE – paper-based router; Soundbounce and many more..
45,000 consumers voted independently of the jury for the winners of the Green Product Audience Awards.
In addition, public winners were chosen in a public online vote in which over 60,000 votes were cast.
