NAVAIR

A new way to breathe on the road

NAVAIR is an electricity-free helmet purifier for two-wheeler riders, using biomimetic design for comfortable, automatic air filtration. This reusable system replaces disposable masks, reducing landfill waste by using innovative filter materials made from waste streams like calcined mussel shells and chitosan biopolymer from crustacean shells, supporting SDG 12 and mitigating CO2.

We’re Industrial Design students at the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh, fueled by curiosity, caffeine, and a little creative chaos. We love poking at everyday problems, breaking the rules (just enough), and turning wild ideas into thoughtful, inclusive, and sustainable designs. We listen, we experiment, and we design with heart—because good design should make life easier, brighter, and a lot more fun.
