Design as a closed material system
Vert is designed as a closed material system. Every element has a defined role across the full life cycle, from sourcing and use to repair, disassembly, and material recovery. The structure avoids composite complexity and unnecessary finishes, keeping materials clear, separable, and reusable. Individual benches are autonomous yet connectable, allowing spatial adaptation without internal complexity. Assembled without glue or staples using a proprietary mechanical technique by Circuform, wear components such as upholstery and comfort foam can be replaced.

Circuform is a design team that develops furniture by treating circularity as a design constraint rather than a sustainability add-on. The team works primarily with widely used materials such as polypropylene, polyamide, EPS, recycled foams, aluminium, and steel, focusing on materials that are already present at scale in existing waste streams. By combining design, material knowledge, and construction logic, Circuform creates furniture that is durable, repairable, and fully recyclable by design.
