共生塔是未来城市的垂直绿化和生态系统，采用模块化六边形结构，加强人与自然的关系。它通过净化空气和减少热量起到城市绿肺的作用。可持续发展是通过低碳材料（如回收铝）、综合水循环回路、提高能效的被动式设计以及延长使用寿命和减少浪费的模块化系统来实现的。该塔还为社区参与和环境教育提供了一个公共平台。
