Ein biomimetisches System für die Luftfeuchtigkeit in Innenräumen
THOR(NO)TECH ist ein biomimetisches System, das vom Dornteufel inspiriert wurde und passiv Feuchtigkeit aus der Luft sammelt und speichert. So wird atmosphärische Feuchtigkeit in eine nutzbare Ressource für das tägliche Feuchtigkeitsmanagement verwandelt. Es verwendet biologisch abbaubares, 3D-gedrucktes PHA und hygroskopische Biokomposite wie Natriumalginat und Naturfasern. Durch den Verzicht auf Strom und Chemikalien senkt es den Energieverbrauch erheblich und minimiert seinen ökologischen Fußabdruck.
