Gondolina Shoes are waterproof, flat slippers inspired by the traditional Italian friulana, aimed at conscious consumers. The patent-protected design features an ergonomic lift and solves the lack of a waterproof friulana. Sustainability is achieved using a local supply chain, deadstock fabrics, water-based adhesives, and soles made from 100% recycled bicycle inner tubes. Packaging is plastic-free and FSC-certified. Each pair saves ~0.6 kg of waste and 1.2 liters of water.

Javier Fernández (Spain) and Agnese (Italy) are the co-founders of Gondolina Shoes, a brand that merges timeless Venetian footwear heritage with forward-thinking sustainable innovation. The couple met in 2018 between Madrid and Venice and launched Gondolina as both a creative project and a way to spend more time together.
