Tequilana Tex

Sustainable textiles from Tequila waste
Vote now

Tequilana Tex turns massive tequila production waste into biodegradable textiles, yarns, and fibers for accessories and home décor. This project solves an environmental issue by repurposing waste, reducing CO₂ emissions, and providing a durable, non-toxic, and renewable alternative to synthetic fabrics. It supports local economies in tequila regions with fair employment and promotes circular practices aligned with UN SDG 12.
