BAU_M_ICH is a modular building block system for all ages (0-99) that lets you build furniture like tables, seating, or play structures from wooden box modules. It solves the issue of short-lived furniture by adapting to changing needs and promoting continuous reuse, upcycling, and repair. Sustainability is achieved through the use of durable materials, DIY local production to reduce transport, and a design that encourages extremely long product life and material reuse.

Melinda Barth
Melinda Barth startete mit einer Ausbildung als Tischlerin (2007). Während ihres Designstudiums an der KHB Weißensee (Bachelor 2014, Arbeit, Master 2025) begann sie 2012 freiberuflich zu arbeiten. In ihren Projekten kombiniert sie handwerkliches Wissen mit innovativen Designlösungen. Ihr Ziel ist es, Design als Werkzeug für soziale und nachhaltige Entwicklung zu nutzen. Ihre Arbeit wurde ausgestellt und ausgezeichnet: sie war u.A. auf der Ventura Future in Mailand und dem DMY. Sie erhielt den EESC Award for Excellent Design (2015) und war für den Designpreis der BRD nominiert.
