Bionest

Unlocking biodiversity signals from the air

Bionest is a field-deployable sampler concept that innovatively monitors biodiversity by capturing environmental DNA (eDNA) directly from the air, moving beyond traditional water and soil testing. Its modular design and specialized sensors improve the reliability of ecological data. Bionest is sustainable because it uses a wind-driven power concept for low-energy, long-term remote operation and is designed for durability, repair, and end-of-life recycling.
