The Buganbag is a handbag designed for young people and adults who want low-impact accessories. It uses innovative bio-leather made from bougainvillea flowers, transforming organic waste into a durable, flexible, and elegant product. This alternative to conventional leather is sustainable because it uses natural, biodegradable materials, supports local artisans, and promotes circular practices.

True innovation sometimes blooms from what we overlook. Turning bougainvillea flowers into bio-leather is a poetic yet practical breakthrough, transforming organic waste into a new material. The real strength lies in its local production and artisan collaboration. This project proves that sustainability is not only about reducing impact, but about creating value through materials that tell a new story.
