Greenspire

Nutrition Without Barriers

Greenspire is an open-source, household-scale system for cultivating spirulina, an essential nutrient source. Its special feature is the intuitive, modular design, which uses common household objects and open-source files for 3D printing. Sustainability is achieved by shortening the food supply chain, reducing packaging and transport waste, maximizing resource efficiency (minimal water/energy use), and using recycled or biodegradable materials.
