JUMBO

A walking aid that grows with the child
Vote now

This project is a modular walking aid designed to support infants through key developmental milestones such as standing, cruising, and walking. Unlike conventional baby products with short lifespans, it transforms into a table and chair for early learning and later functions as a center table within the home. Its staged walking mechanism allows children to develop balance at their own pace. By extending usability across years, the design reduces waste and promotes a circular, sustainable approach to early childhood products.

Sai Divakar Boddeti
An engineer turned designer, I followed my heart into the world of design. Driven by curiosity, I explore how people engage with products and what shapes their behavior. For me, design is about understanding people, solving real-world problems, and creating meaningful products that improve everyday life, all through a thoughtful balance of form and function.
