Innovación artesanal gracias a la digitalización
FLOORENS es un sistema autónomo de renovación de suelos. El parquet es la solución de suelo sostenible debido a la posibilidad de renovación. Las máquinas habituales son pesadas, poco manejables y requieren destreza. Además, existe el problema de la creciente escasez de trabajadores cualificados. En consecuencia, el concepto está diseñado para la automatización sin mano de obra. Para ello, no sólo hemos reinterpretado y probado el proceso de retirada, sino que también lo hemos automatizado por completo in situ y en la fábrica. Floorens es el primer sistema de productos de este tipo, caracterizado por su pequeño tamaño y agilidad.

The "Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd" is a university in Schwäbisch Gmünd (Germany) that specialises purely in the field of design and offers four Bachelor's degree programmes (product-, communication-, interactiondesign and IOT) and one Master's degree programme (strategic design). It is a founding member of the Baden-Württemberg Doctoral Association established in 2022.

Marius Knipp & Jan Haller
Jan and Marius have had almost identical career paths. After completing their apprenticeships in carpentry, both of them studied product design at the HfG. The motivation for their work stems from their professional backgrounds and their desire to shape the future of craftsmanship. Even after completing studies, their paths did not diverge. Currently, they work for UP Designstudio in Stuttgart. Design has been a significant part of their lives since childhood. Coming from a family of architects and exhibition builders, they were exposed to a physical engagement with products from an early age.
