Bei dem Projekt handelt es sich um eine biologisch abbaubare Damenbinde aus einer Mischung von Bananen-Pseudostammfasern und Baumwolle, wobei Chitosan aus Krabbenschalenabfällen einen natürlichen antimikrobiellen Schutz bietet. Sie ist für Frauen und Mädchen geeignet, die eine sichere, bequeme und umweltfreundliche Menstruationshygiene suchen. Das Produkt ist plastikfrei, kompostierbar und wird aus erneuerbaren Materialien und Abfallstoffen hergestellt. Seine Innovation liegt in einer Materialmischung aus Abfällen, die die Hygiene verbessert und gleichzeitig eine kostengünstige, nachhaltige Produktion ermöglicht.
