Sie erfüllt den Bedarf an nachhaltigen, funktionalen Kasacks durch die Verwendung einer chemikalienfreien Spinnmethode für seidenähnliche Weichheit und ein zirkuläres Design, das Reparatur und Kompostierung umfasst. Jedes Kleidungsstück verfügt über einen digitalen Produktpass (DPP) auf Blockchain-Basis für transparente CO₂- und Rückverfolgbarkeitsdaten. Das Projekt wurde mit dem Good Design Award 2025 (Japan) ausgezeichnet.

Shinichi Hasegawa is the CEO and creative lead at WORKING HASEGAWA, a workwear manufacturer founded in Fukuoka in 1978. Holding an MBA, he promotes corporate transformation by merging digital technology and sustainability. In 2025, his sustainable medical wear brand “sukui” received the Good Design Award in Japan. Together with blockchain company Chaintope, he developed and implemented a Digital Product Passport (DPP) for sukui, combining Japan’s craftsmanship and advanced technology to present a new global standard of transparency and circular design.
