Merijn Everaarts (Founder): The idea for a reusable water bottle came about after Merijn Everaarts saw a film about the plastic soup. Later he saw a lot of plastic waste floating into the sea on the beach, which made him realize that he could do something about the plastic problem. Niels Heijman started his career at senz, developing storm-proof umbrellas and other durable concepts. In 2017 he started his sustainable journey at Dopper, where he currently leads the R&D department. Rinke van Remortel: In 2010 he won the design contest for the Dopper, "the perfect bottle for tap water".
