The World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) will take place from November 23-26th. At the official side event, the Nordic Circular Summit, the Green Future Club in cooperation with the IKEA Stiftung will host a session as the only German partner on November 24th from 10:00 to 12:00 CET. Here, the importance of design for the circular economy will be shown with experts, examples of selected participants and new cooperation formats.
Welcome and introduction by Nils Bader, Director of the Green Future Club.
The influence that design can have as a driver of the circular economy will be demonstrated by means of innovative, recyclable products and concepts. The examples will form a preview of the Pre-Selection of the Green Product and Concept Award 2022. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to get in touch directly with the participants.
In the third section, the two curated Special Calls will be presented:
a. Farmwaste2products - creating design showcases for products made from organic waste in collaboration with the Cumulus University Network.
b. Kuro Units - concepts for sustainable modular building units (focusing on interiors, architecture, building elements).
Participation in the event is free of charge. We look forward to welcoming you on stage 4 on November 24th.
