In the EU, 910 million tons of packaging waste are generated every year, ranging from food and medical products to transport packaging. It is clear that sustainable packaging plays a critical role in reducing this impact. Packaging design should have a positive impact on the environment while providing consumers with high-quality products. that feature: sustainable material innovations, minimized material use, environmentally friendly color or coating methods, take-back programs, recyclability, compostability, and fully traceable and transparent supply chains.
All participants benefit from an independent initial assessment of their products in line with the regulations of the Green New Deal (focus on EPR & Green Claims Directive).
