The modular citytram
CIMO combines passenger and cargo transport in a modular concept and shows how public transport can function and be expanded in a sustainable city. With the cargo railway, urban logistics are supplemented and relieved by rail freight transport. CIMO offers concrete solutions to improve the use of the passenger railway for cyclists, wheelchair users, passengers with prams or similar. New seating and standing room arrangements and the introduction of augmented reality for drivers and passengers will also bring the railway up to the state of the art in terms of technology.
