modern basics blue® from weinor is the world's first sustainable awning fabric collectionmade from 85 percent recycled PET for environmentally-conscious user groups. It consists of Tempotest® Starlight® blue, a sun protection fabric from Parà Tempotest® certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Thanks to the recycling of disposable PET bottles, its production saves about 60% energy and about 45% CO2 emissions compared to other polyester fabrics. The spinneret dyeing used also saves roughly 90% water compared to conventional yarn or piece dyeing.
