Trebodur uses the power of nature to manufacture an innovative and simple material solely made from brewers' spent grain (BSG). BSG only consists of barley malt which has been used in the brewing process. Therefore, Trebodur is 100% biodegradable. The proteins contained in BSG are used to bind the residues themselves without any kind of additives. The compression moulding process generates a solid, wood-like material that can be formed to make various products and has a high potential e.g. for the packaging industry.
