Urbanella is a recyclable rain gear woven from second life materials. The design is made to be easily dismantled for recycling. It consists of recycled polyester made from pre-and post-consumer waste, along with material recycled zippers, cords and 5000mm breathable waterproof coating. Unlike raincoats which cannot be worn over thick winter jackets, Urbanella can be worn over anything with uncompromising elegance. Umbrellas are by far the most convenient all season rain gear, but are not easily recycled and often land up in landfills. Urbanella offers a much needed sustainable alternative.
