MAOR
Marine Alkalized Oyster Rack.
MAOR is a recyclable oyster farming rack made from durable ASA plastic, designed for oyster farmers using the shed-hanging farming method. The rack includes a hollow space to store powdered oyster shells, which dissolve into the seawater to help neutralize ocean acidification and provide calcium for healthier oyster shell growth. This system repurposes oyster shell waste, reduces plastic waste, and supports a sustainable marine ecosystem.
