HPTK is a medical kit to detect H. pylori infection. H. pylori causes a range of gastric related diseases. An enzyme occurs with it which can split a carbon- 13 reagent to a heavier CO2 than normally breathed out. To prove whether this CO2 exists, the user exhales into the right/left HPTK breath collection bags, recording the color changes of the pH indicator before and after swallowing the reagent to compare their results with the universal colour chart. If a big difference occurs, further tests are required. HPTK can prevent stomach disorders and reduce the consumption of medical resources.
