Solar-powered watch made of ocean-bound plastic
The D10 CHRONO SOLAR, featuring a case and strap made from #tide ocean material®, showcases a striking contrast in design: bold orange meets deep black. The intriguing details on the dial, such as the sporty speckles, harmonize with a clear organization of the chronograph elements, ensuring readability. The function of the hands, pushers, and crown is visually united through their materiality. This timepiece is powered by a solar movement. The strap is also crafted from #tide ocean material®, completing the watch's upcycling concept.

Seit 2021 sind das Unternehmen und die Produkte durch ClimatePartner als klimaneutral zertifiziert.

Lars Amhoff, born in Detmold in 1983, graduated from the University of Duisburg-Essen with a degree in Industrial Design. He has 20 years of experience on an international level with the implementation of design projects and traditional manufacturing methods, including as a founding partner & creative director at Asemi Co. Japan and as an interdisciplinary designer at marcellini GmbH. Since March 2020 he is Head of Product Design at DETOMASO and has already been awarded the NY Product Design Award 2023 and German Design Award 2024 for the D10 CHRONO SOLAR's design.
