Sustainable, recyclable fashion ingredients B2B
While the market for sustainable textiles is growing, there is a lack of alternative fashion accessories. That is why valupa is developing recyclable product designs for buckles, rings, hooks, etc. For example, the buckle (patent pending) consists of an upper and a lower part between which the strap is attached. In this way, the end customer can repair the buckle at home without having to undo any seams and the product becomes recyclable. The materials used are 100% bio-based and the company is also developing its own compostable material from biogenic waste.

Während der Markt für nachhaltige Textilien wächst, fehlt alternatives Mode-Zubehör. Deshalb entwickelt valupa kreislauffähige Designs für Produkte wie Schnallen, Ringe, Haken usw. für die B2B-Modebranche. Bspw. die Schnalle (zum Patent angemeldet) besteht aus einem oberen und einem unteren Teil, zwischen denen der Gurt befestigt ist. Auf diese Weise kann der Endkunde die Schnalle zu Hause austauschen, ohne Nähte aufzutrennen und das Produkt wird kreislauffähig. Eingesetzte Materialien sind 100% biobasiert und die eigene Materialentwicklung ist zudem aus biogenen Reststoffen. Alles MADE in GER

Ulrike verfügt als Diplom Textil- und Flächendesignerin über umfassendes Wissen im Bereich Mode, 3D-Design, Materialkonzeption und -verarbeitung. Design, nachhaltige Aspekte sowie innovative Produktionsansätze gehen für sie immer Hand in Hand. Mit ihrer ersten Materialentwicklung, bei der sie aus Eierschale ein Zement ähnliches Material entwickelte, war sie bereits für den Recycling Designpreis nominiert.
