Das nachhaltige Geschirr für Hotels & Restaurants
Bioplates sind langlebige, leichte Geschirrteile für Hotels und Restaurants, die Melamin und Keramik in Bereichen wie Pools und Stränden ersetzen sollen. Die Teller bestehen aus einem Biopolymer der dritten Generation und lösen das Problem herkömmlichen Geschirrmülls, indem sie vollständig in Erde, Wasser und Kompost biologisch abbaubar sind (TÜV Austria zertifiziert). Sie sind extrem langlebig (über 7.000 Spülgänge) und können durch Wiederaufforstungsinitiativen einen CO₂-negativen Status (-4,5 kg CO₂/Einheit) erreichen. Das Produkt ist zudem B-Corp-zertifiziert.

We were the first ceramic studio in Europe to earn B-Corp certification, achieving the highest global score in the industry. Carbon neutral since 2021, we focus on circularity, renewable energy, and ceramic waste reuse to reduce our environmental impact.

Alex Hell is the co-founder of Studioneves, a B-Corp certified studio in Portugal focused on sustainable innovation for hospitality. He leads the development of Bioplates, the first durable and fully biodegradable tableware made from PHA. With a background in design and a passion for circular economy, Alex works at the intersection of material science, aesthetics and environmental impact to create products that serve both function and purpose.
