CAL VIVA hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Manufactura den EGGSHELL Eco Brick entwickelt, ein Produkt für den Innenausbau. Es basiert auf einer Studie, die sich mit der Menge an organischen Abfällen befasst, und wir haben herausgefunden, dass Mexiko der weltweit größte Verbraucher von frischen Eiern ist. Eierschalensteine sind als Blöcke konzipiert, die zur Herstellung verschiedener architektonischer und innenarchitektonischer Objekte, industrieller Designgegenstände wie Geschirr und Möbel und sogar architektonischer Objekte wie Wände, Säulen, Gitter oder Strukturen, die Teil eines bewohnbaren Raums sind, nachgebaut werden können. So können wir unsere neuen Räume verantwortungsvoll bewohnen.

CAL VIVA and MANUFACTURA teamed up to create this project. EGGSHELL ECOBRICK was born from a joint idea. Being aware of all the organic waste generated in Mexico daily, we took on the task of designing a material suitable for use with the Manufactura robotic arm.
CAL VIVA is a sustainable materials design studio that focuses on researching and adapting materials for various purposes, including construction, arts, and design. Meanwhile, MANUFACTURA is a digital manufacturing studio with a focus on architecture. Both are based in and originate from Mexico.
