CyPlanter

Spice and herb growing made simple and aesthetic.
Vote now

The CyPlanter is a modular hanging garden for herbs and spices, designed for aesthetically-minded people who enjoy fresh, natural ingredients. It allows growing herbs at home and solves the issue of frequent buying/wasting store-bought spices. The system uses an ancient olla clay pot method for week-long, non-electronic irrigation. It is made from 100% recycled or recyclable materials (rPET, clay, steel) and uses recycled packaging, reducing waste and carbon footprint.

We are 20 zear old close friends and future designers. Currently, we are colleagues at the Academy for fine arts and design in Ljubljana, but before we used to attend Secondary school for design and photography together as well. As future designers, we are fascinated by natural materials and think a lot can be learned from the techniques of the past. We believe that designers have the power to shape the world of tommorow and plan to make it more sustainable for the future generations.
