The RE49 Wave is a unique sneaker made from regenerated sails and recycled materials, avoiding leather or animal-derived products. Each pair is entirely hand-stitched for durability using the IDEAL method and minimal glue. This footwear provides a sustainable fashion alternative by giving a second life to used sails, thus preventing CO₂ emissions from their destruction. The company, a Benefit Corporation, also offers a recovery program for old shoes and uses eco-certified couriers with CO₂ offset systems.
