FilKa

The sustainable option to filter water

Unlike other beverages, water is hardly associated with a ritual of mindfulness and appreciation. This is where the FilKa water filter carafe comes in. Simple shapes and transparent functionality are at the heart of the design of this sustainable product. FilKa consists of two glass objects: a funnel into which tap water is poured, and the carafe itself. Inserted into the funnel is a dark gray ceramic filter that is filled with activated charcoal pieces. FilKa uses the hourglass principle, the gradual, conditional filling and emptying of both halves - a process that takes time.
