Idol verschiebt die Grenzen der Akustik
Idol ist ein Ensemble aus drei phonoabsorbierenden Skulpturen, die von Isabella Del Grandi für Slalom entworfen wurden, um die Grenzen der Akustik mit einem eklektischen Touch zu erweitern und neue symbolische Bedeutungen zu vermitteln. Die Neuinterpretation primitiver Formen erweckt eine Reihe zeitgenössischer Totems zum Leben, die aus einer Ansammlung nicht-traditioneller Geometrien bestehen, die im Gleichgewicht zueinander stehen. Die Vielfältigkeit der Stoffe und die genaue Untersuchung der Farben führen zu einer multisensorischen Erfahrung bei der Interaktion mit dem Produkt und dem Aufbau einer imaginären Landschaft.

Isabella Del Grandi
Multifaceted architect and designer, she trained at Politecnico di Milano and TUDelft and, years of experience in Holland,she returned to Milan where she moved into the folds of design
by founding her own professional studio. From architecture and interiors she opens up
to product design and scenography. Moving between different scales and disciplines, she has developed a professional approach aimed at building narratives with
attention to the circularity of materials. One above all:recycled pet becomes oniric environments and contentemporary sculptures.
